Prison Fellowship was founded by former Nixon Counsel
Chuck Colson following his incarceration for a Watergate-related
offense. The ministry exists to exhort, equip, and
assist churches in their ministry to prisoners, ex-prisoners,
and their families.

Prisons are
a mission field on our doorstep! In Oregon alone,
over 14,000 men and women are incarcerated! There
is a great hunger for the Lord in prison, and many men
and women become serious disciples of Jesus Christ.
Prison Fellowship's strategy is to evangelize prisoners,
then to disciples them as they progress through the prison
system. Then, we continue to minister to them as
they leave prison so that they can continue their walk
with Christ in the community!

Our place
is also a participant with Prison Fellowship Angel Tree,
a program that provides gifts to children who have an
incarcerated parent. Contact Anna
Fort for more information on Prison Fellowship Family
Ministry and Angel Tree.

of the birth of Christ!
